ニコでの友達です。りりかさんって言います。とっても、キュートで、テキパキと行動します。ゴンは、何事にも鈍いので、色々とニコでの生活を教えていただいています。この写真も、教えてもらって、撮りました。ニコッとタウンでの一枚です。この日は、また、高いところに登る方法も、教えてもらいました。でも・・・、ちょっと練習が必要だね、ゴンにはね!
それとね、りりかさんのコレクションも、すごいです。シャチホコのコレクションです。見ていると、ちょっと、リッチになったような・・・です。ホントだよ!

ご質問の『明治の日』ですが有りますと言えます。
11月3日の『文化の日』が明治天皇のお誕生日で
昔は『明治節』と呼ばれた明治の日です。
大正天皇はお体が弱く治世に関わるコトは皇太子の昭和天皇がなさっていた事情から
大正の日はありません。
慶応の日もありません。

Yeah, it's not so bad now. I still hate daylight saving though, even if it is adjustable.

Wow, I haven't been able to wear spring clothes yet! I still have to wear a coat! The temperature rarely even reaches 10°! Lol. You're lucky; I'm getting sick of winter. I think it'll still be cold for another week or so.

Currently, it is actually 14°, so not so bad. I live about five hours south of Chicago. I have relatives who live in Chicago, and whenever I visit them it's always very cold in the winter and autumn!

I'd like that. :)

Well, 'summer time' would be the time of the calender season, rather than this time. Technically, it is spring right now.

Yeah, on school days I wake up at 5:40 and leave for school at 6:40. Any earlier and I might need a flashlight! Lol.

Yeah, everyone is very excited about Valentine's Day here. ^^ There are heart-shaped balloons around my school! Lol. People get so hyped over it.

What, no sweets on campus? How unfair! We have so many sweets here~. Hm. It would be sad to be given chocolates, only for them to be taken away!

Ah, I see. Here in the U.S. we consider Spring to begin in late March.

I think today was the coldest day this winter. The snow was quite deep too! The temperature was about -14° this morning!

Yeah, Japanese pronounciation is much easier than English pronounciation, I think. I have a Japanese friend online who types/writes English as fluently as any American, but she can barely pronounce anything she types/writes!

Meh, I'm really lazy on my days off. I mostly just sit around in front of the computer. But this weekend I have a book to read for school, so I'll spend some time with that. I might also do some writing just for fun. ^^

I know many songs in Japanese, maybe more than I know in English, lol. Learning the words to the songs and the songs' English translations teaches me new words and phrases. ^.^

玉の輿の日のお雪さんですが
莫大な借金を抱えていて
芸者と結婚したがっていたジョージ・モルガンさんから逃げられなくって結婚したようです。
ジョージ・モルガンと言う人は他の芸者さんと言う芸者さんに求婚していたのですが←逃げられてます。
排日法でお雪さんはアメリカに帰化できず～
モルガン家からお雪さんは疎まれてご夫婦はアメリカには住めなかったようですし～
フランスで30何歳かの時にご主人が亡くなります。
恋人は出来ても再婚はできませんでした。
再婚すっとモルガン家の遺産が相続できなくなるからでした。
そののち京都にもどりますが
日本は戦時中?でモルガン家の送金は止まったうえ、
お雪さんは国籍をなくしています。←お雪さん無国籍ぃぃぃぃ
で・・・81歳で亡くなるまで悲しくて大変な人生でぇ～
玉の輿も楽じゃにゃいにゃいと言えると思うデス♪

Hello! Currently the temperature is 2°, and the high today is supposed to be 5°.

Yes, I got my report card. My algebra grade was not as high as I had hoped, because I did quite poorly on the final exam. (I am so slow at math; I only had time to answer 72 out of 100 questions!)

Sure, my Japanese definitely needs some work, lol.

Yes, lots of lights are up around town and on houses at Christmastime. ^^ Cakes are slightly less common. Usually we'd eat cookies or pie instead.

Thank you for the message, Gon! ^^ Yes, I've been learning to write in hiragana and katakana. It's quite fun, actually! The kanji, however, seems quite complex, with the many strokes. Lol.
