on saturday we went to the beach.

when i was a little kid, we lived less than 20 minutes away. now it takes about 1.5 hours.

i think this was the first time i could relax and enjoy it without anyone getting upset or having an agenda.

i went to take photos, but ended up picking up shells.

i even found some type of skin or some organic membrane. it was really pretty, but i picked it up to move it for a photo and afterwards my thumb burned... i still don't know what animal it came from...

afterwards we went through a car wash. ahh... memories... i haven't been through a drive-through car wash for a long time. (which reminds me... i need to wash my car... it's been over a year definitely since its last bath~)

i ended the day washing shells and being mesmerized at how sand slides quickly to the bottom of the water.

and then spent all of sunday editing photos of the day before...
