today the clouds finally let themselves go.

during the afternoon, i looked out and saw the large white clouds covering the sky dark on their bellies with the look of rain. and then before i noticed, the drops started to fall. it was not really hard; thankfully it did not hail (the last times it rained, there were hail).

there was a little thunder. mika threw up (though whether from eating too much too fast or from the memory of the first hailstorm, i don't know).

but before i knew it, it ended. in the end, it seemed almost like a hard drizzle had fallen.

when i went out into the backyard less than 10 minutes later, the rain had almost dried up. it was hot and humid like a sauna. even though the heat was not burning my skin, because of the humidity, i felt as if i was sweating.

oh well...

i took some pictures but will post them later [maybe tomorrow].
