today i woke up early but then towards the afternoon decided to take a quick nap. i slept a lot... i woke up and mika was on my bookcase... i think she slept there [she had snuck into my room while i was still awake and pushed off the stuffed toys off the top of the other bookcase].

when i woke up, it took me a couple of minutes to realize my computer was not charging. i then realized that there was no electricity...

argg...

after a bit i went downstairs thinking i would work on the puzzle instead of doing nothing.

i don't like it when the power is down... it is creepy to carry candles everywhere you go in the house. thankfully this was during the day, even though my house is dark. it sucked because the sky was bright and not rainy.

after a couple of hours, i realized that i might have to spend the night in the dark. the light we use as lantern was not really working. [i hate the dark.] after calling my mom, she got a friend to call the electric company [i never know why we have to go on the internet to find the number to inform them]. i guess the company did not realize that the lines were down and no one had informed them off the power outage [because they did not have the number to call]. a few moments later, the power came back on.

then an hour later...
it rained....

but by then i had electricity.
