ah shelby.
shelby is our dog. i think she is 3-4 years old (ah... i forgot her age).

i have a massive sweet tooth and love anything with sugar, especially pudding...

we had some pistachio pudding in our pantry, and i decided to make it since i had milk. (we rarely get milk because i only use it to make food and sometimes forget that it is in the fridge... and then it spoils.)

but i made the pudding and after over an hour decided to indulge myself... it was not as sweet as i had expected but i still enjoyed it... i made sure to shoo shelby away from it and placed it away from her.

but then i decided to have a shower... i forgot to move the pudding to higher ground. and after i came back i noticed that it was all eaten... i was so mad... but it was my fault. so i forgave her but mourned for my precious pudding... (she had eaten 3/4th of it / i only ate less than 1/4th of it).

then yesterday night, i made spagetti noddles with an alfredo-random-other-stuff sauce mixed with chipolte chicken. after a while, i placed it in the center of the coffee table where she couldn't reach it and went to the bathroom. i was gone for less than 1 minute.

when i returned, she had climbed on the table eaten it all and got down. when i got out of the bathroom, she had a guilty look. and when i saw my bowl filled with no pasta, i knew what she had done... so she was sent to bed.

i'm still a bit mad at her, but since i love her i guess i forgive her....
i just need to make sure that she doesn't get my food.
(i had taught that this habit had been broken since she hadn't tried it for a long time, but this time it was 2 nights in a row....)

so now i'll go and cuddle her with no thoughts of revenge.

on a side note: today i have to work at night. (well my night is day in japan.)

i'm a bit scared since i don't know if i'll be able to stay awake all night. i know that they don't mind me sleeping, but i don't think that that would be the right thing to do. the sad part is i forgot to ask what i'm going to be paid per hour.

so wish me good luck...

i hope i won't get bored...

usually i would bring a book and read while the person sleeps, but today my boss will be there to "orientate" me, so i don't think that will be a good thing.

i should bring something to eat, but don't know what to get....

oh well...
